Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 3 billion through one tranche on Monday, 6 February.
The issue will mature in three years on 12 January 2026, according to official data.
In addition, the CBE issued zero-coupon T-bonds at a value of EGP 1.50 billion through one offering, holding a tenor of 1.5 years until 30 July 2024.
The central bank also auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) in USD at a value of $1 billion, with a 364-day maturity period that ends on 6 February 2024.
On 29 January, the central bank auctioned T-bonds worth 3 billion through one issue.
